But most of her children go no further than the bordering islands of the archipelago, and that only to collect special ingredients.

The rest stay at home to secure Mama's empire and protect their captain.

He foresees the comment before it comes, but it still makes him a mixture of wary and proud that his little sister is so interested.]

So long as a combatant or two went along with you, I'm sure you'd be permitted to go to one of the closer islands as an ambassador.
